SUMMARYThe Internal Audit Manager role will ensure successful completion of assigned audit engagements from start to finish, inclusive of planning, fieldwork and reporting activities. At times, may not be assigned the Audit Lead position in order to assist in the development of other Audit staff.   The White Sands Lead Missile Range Operations Support Engineering Technician will support the Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) Technical Center. Candidate will support development of target missile requirements, maintenance and upgrade of ground support equipment, placement and set up of launch operations van, maintenance and setup of missile launcher, integration and test of launch equipment, and flight test launch operations. The candidate will also participate in flight test planning meetings, missile Integrated Product Team meetings, and other associated target meetings as required.Candidate must be experienced in the test and evaluation of COTS telemetry equipment including telemetry antennas, Low Noise Amplifiers, receivers, multi-couplers, step-attenuators, bit-synchronizer and analog/digital data recorders using equipment including high-speed digital sampling oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters and link analyzers. Candidate must be familiar and capable of operating SMDC operations facility telemetry equipment for pre/post launch data collection for providing real time telemetry to launch integrator while also working with White Sand Missile Range personnel as needed to resolve telemetry issues. Must be able to accomplish configuration control and management of multiple engineering drawings, user/operations manual and have a working knowledge or SMDC’s missile launchers. Must have a thorough understanding and working knowledge of Hydraulic systems for launcher operation.Candidate must be capable of preparing and operating a target missile launch site at White Sands Missile Range and similar launch locations, followed by supporting the execution of launch operations. Candidate must be familiar with missile requirements, ground support equipment, and launch equipment used in target missile flight tests.
