The Advanced Technical Specialist (Electronics) will support design engineering, manufacturing and test efforts related to hardware and systems under strict quality systems on DOD and commercial programs. Tasks include direct support to electronics engineering design efforts, bench-top and system level testing of systems, troubleshooting and repair tasks, and on and off-site support to system developmental, factory and Government acceptance testing efforts. Additional tasks include:- Problem resolution- Test logistics support- Off-site travel during test eventsCandidate must be comfortable working in office and manufacturing environments and routinely communicating with design engineering, manufacturing engineering, electronic and mechanical technicians, and assembly personnel along with interfacing with program management and Government customer representatives. - Assist in the preparation of full quarterly and year end worldwide tax provisions, including obtaining key data inputs from Teledyne business units.- Assist in the analysis of the activities in the tax accounts to ensure accuracy and that the transactions have been classified correctly and assist in the annual tax payable proof and rollover. Summary Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of repetitive and non-repetitive bench or line mechanical subassembly and assembly operations of a semi-skilled nature to produce products, also making required minor adjustments in the assemblies as needed. This position is open to temp or temp-to-hire. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
