    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Support and provide hands on photolithography for detector and ROIC processing for Teledyne Imaging Sensors for both production and engineering projects. As a highly skilled Photolithography technician this position requires working closely with and assisting process engineers and technicians to contribute to process and yield improvements. The Photolithography Technician is also responsible for completion of each task within assigned deadlines and budgets.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


    • Operation of photolithography tools including contact, projection, and step and repeat mask aligners.
    • Initial wafer inspection and photo preparation including photoresist spinning and bake steps.
    • Post process wafer inspection and documentation.
    • Maintains schedules and databases in real-time on Imaging network.
    • Keeps all work instructions and travelers up-to-date and meet ISO requirements.
    • Provide recommendations for new tooling and process control configurations to improve yield, cost, or cycle time.
    • Performs distortion and intensity check on schedule ensuring that the mask aligners are in good working condition and meets specifications.
    • Frequently works with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for tracking and reporting of data.
    • Follow all proper clean room protocol and safety procedures to AS9100 standards.
    • Preform daily SPC data input and tracking.
    • Orders materials and cleanroom supplies as needed.


    To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:

    • Ability to utilize drawings and mathematic formulas and a variety of precision measuring instruments.
    • Ability to contribute to the improvement and development of concepts and techniques for front end ROIC and detector processing.
    • Capability to complete complex tasks in creative, efficient and effective ways with little supervision.
    • Occasionally works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.
    • Ability to contribute recommendations for new procedures.
    • Must be a team player and interact well with fellow engineers and peers.
    • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
    • Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite. (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
    • Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices.



    Education and/or Experience   

    • High School Diploma with five (5) to ten (10) years of experience

    Other Qualifications:

    • U.S. Person for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data
