    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Teledyne Brown Engineering is looking for a Software Tester to work with our Army Software Engineering Customer on the JBC-P program.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements.
    • Develop test plans, test schedule, and approach. Writes test cases and scripts and identifies data for test scenarios.
    • Conducts a walk through on test case/script with Test Managers, Requirement Leads, Project Managers, and Development Leads.
    • Performs tests of software and/or IT systems to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
    • Performs verification activities on work products using defined methods, procedures and criteria with an appropriate verification environment.
    • Documents and communicates test results. Supports analysis of test results and resolution of open issues.
    • Reports progress on problem resolution to management.


    Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.

    Qualifications

    Education:

     

    Requires a Bachelor's Degree and (2) two years minimum in related experience.

     

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience with formal software testing experience
    • Experience with automated test execution
    • Experience with test tools utilized to simulate data input or capture data
    • Experience integrating and troubleshooting software and hardware within a simulation environment
    • Knowledge of formal software qualification processes and artifacts as well as experience creating formal test documentation

    Travel: Up to 10% of travel

    Desired Experience:

    • Experience with JBC-P software
    • Experience with Army Tactical Systems
    • Linux

    Citizenship Requirements
