    Position Summary and Responsibilities


    The Services Manager is responsible for managing Teledyne’s hosted services customers. This position is based in El Segundo, CA.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Participate in the analysis and development of customer requirements
    • Provide cost estimates for pricing of new sales opportunities
    • Identify and secure resources required for individual projects and the Services business as a whole
    • Establish a comprehensive plan for Services projects covering the design, development, documentation, integration, test and delivery stages as necessary
    • Identify all customer deliverables which may include software, services, documentation and training
    • Identify internal deliverables which may include plans, schedules and other documents
    • Manage resources to ensure that projects are executed to cost and schedule targets
    • Monitor and report progress to internal and external customers
    • Manage customer expectations and communication to ensure that requirements are met
    • Conduct well planned, effective meetings which drive actions
    • Implement continual process improvement
    • Coordinate the selection and procurement of any 3rd party content with suppliers as necessary
    • Participate in Business Planning and Strategy meetings with sales and business development
    • Support Sales activities in the region to identify and pursue new business opportunities


    Education and/or Experience                                                         

    • Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Aeronautical or other related Engineering discipline.
    • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in commercial aerospace in an Engineering or support role, including a minimum of three years’ experience in a management role.
    • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
    • Clear verbal communication and informative documentation skills.
    • Experience in Microsoft Office Tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project required.
    • Experience working with SQL Databases software preferred.
    • Working knowledge of Sales Force preferred.
    • Solid understanding of Tableau preferred.
    • Knowledgeable experience in Windows OS, web applications, SaaS preferred.
