    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Teledyne Storm Microwave, a leading manufacturer of R/F Microwave cable assemblies, is searching for an Assembler for a temporary assignment for our Woodridge, IL facilty.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Assemble components and sub-assemblies by performing various tasks.Works at a workstation as a member of an assembly cell.  
    • Tin and wick components (contact and housing)
    • Trim Cable assemblies per print using appropriate production equipment
    • Strip cable layers using razor blade or other production tools

    • Tin dip cable  
    • Inspect per print

    Citizenship Requirements

    Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "U.S. Person" (US citizens, US nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).


    The candidate must be dependable and reliable

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
    • Must be able to work independently and make good decisions
    • Must possess a high degree of hand/eye coordination and dexterity
    • Must be detail oriented
    • Must be able to read and interpret drawings and documents
    • Strong math skills (plus)
    • Ability to read a ruler and other measuring devices
    • Must be mobile enough to move about the plant as needed to pull and move inventory, goods and products (weight varies)
    • Assembly experience or MIL Standard Soldering Certification (plus)
    • 1-2 years related experience (plus)
    • U.S. Person required for this position, includes but is not limited to, U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents.

    This is a 2nd shift position however candidate must be able to train on 1st shift for a number of weeks
