    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Teledyne Storm Microwave, a leading manufacturer of R/F Microwave cable assemblies, is searching for an Assembler for a temporary assignment for our Woodridge, IL facility.

     

    Assemble components and sub-assemblies by performing various tasks. Works at a workstation as a member of an assembly cell.  

     

    Responsibilities include: 

    • Assembling/manufacturing components and or products in accordance with written procedures/drawings.
    • Follows all written and/or verbal instructions.
    • Performs in process inspection to ensure product meets specifications as specified in the engineering drawings
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Tin and wick components (contact and housing)
    • Solder Housing or Contact

    Qualifications

    The candidate must be dependable and reliable

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
    • Soldering experience or MIL standard soldering certification is a plus
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
    • Must be able to work independently and make good decisions
    • Must possess a high degree of hand/eye coordination and dexterity
    • Must be detail oriented
    • Must be able to read and interpret drawings and documents
    • Lift, move and carry parts, bins, boxes (weight varies)
    • U.S. Person required for this position, includes but is not limited to, U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents.
