The Receiving Inspector will Perform Quality Assurance Receiving Inspector functions by conducting, reporting and documenting results of receiving inspection activities as assigned. Requires evaluation of quality documentation received from vendors against established quality requirements (e.g., PO requirement, part drawings, ASTM material specifications, etc.).
Education and Experience:
Requires High School level education or equivalent, plus ten (10) years related experience. Directly applicable schooling will receive credit on a two-for-two basis. Minimum six years experience as Receiving Inspector.
Practical knowledge of ASME codes and standards. Practical knowledge of inspection techniques using calibrated measuring test and equipment. Proficiency of Costpoint and TIP QA.
