    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Summary: This position performs spray and touch up coating as well as masking of assemblies at coat, hardware assembly and complex bonding operations.

     

    Key Functions of Job:

    • Performs soldering operations, conformal coat, panel spray, masking, bonding and various hardware installation operations 
    • Follows written instructions and helps to monitor chemical expiration dates
    • Operates various tools such as scope, tweezers, torques, cutters, spray guns, and various measuring devices

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Must be able to read blueprints, drawings, sketches, and follow written procedures and/or verbal instructions
    • Must be able to multitask in a fast-faced environment
    • Must be able to work under a microscope for long periods of time
    • Must be able to sit or stand for 8 hours at a time
    • Must be able to comprehend written or verbal instructions
    • Must be able to pass a vision test
    • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
    • Must be able to work overtime as needed
    • Keeps work station neat and orderly

     

    Citizenship Requirements

    Due to classified work at the facility and related access restrictions, successful applicants must maintain U.S. Citizenship to allow the person to hold a U.S. Government security clearance.

    Qualifications

    Education & Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
    • Must be able to attend and pass certification training for J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610
    • 1-2 years experience in an electronics and/or manufacturing environment preferred
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen

    Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations:

    • Must be able to obtain a security clearance if necessary
