    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manages and performs customer service / inside sales functions
      • Receives and promptly responds to Requests for Quotations
      • Prepares quotations/sales proposals and logs, and prepares reports
      • Determines delivery dates for orders.
      • Performs order entry into applicable systems, and logs, prepares reports, and tracks orders
      • Supervises coordination of order delivery
      • Manages Order Review process
      • Records/updates daily orders summary
      • Interacts with customers prior to and after sale.  Develops and maintains positive customer relations.  Proactively keeps customers informed
      • Provides product support to customers via email, telephone calls, and site visits to customer vessels. This includes answering product questions, communicating product related problems to appropriate internal staff, recommending solutions, etc
      • Interacts with internal personnel (Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Accounting, etc.) to ensure quotations and orders are communicated and requirements can be met.  Ensures changes are documented and communicated to applicable internal personnel
      • Maintains files and records including quotations, sales orders, changes to sales orders, validation of shipments/invoicing against sales files
      • Maintains customer data.  Updates files and applicable systems
      • Financial Forecasting – Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual
      • Develops monthly order delivery plan to meet revenue recognition goals
      • Ensures proper procedures are in place to maintain/improve On Time Delivery
      • Works closely with engineering and production to make sure parts and drawings are up to date in ERP system.
    • Works closely with Trade Compliance and Supply Chain personnel to
      • Ensure compliance with Import/Export regulations and internal requirements
      • Communicate with internal and external personnel on trade compliance
      • Ensure Supply Chain personnel have information needed to process purchase orders, shipments, etc.
      • Determine adequate inventory levels and make sure these levels are maintained.
    • Manages and performs activities associated with site lead/general business support activities, including:
      • Daily, weekly, monthly business reporting
      • Coordination of services at local facility
      • Purchasing, receiving, shipping
      • Travel coordination
      • Reviewing/approving invoices
      • Records retention 
    • Performs other duties as assigned


    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor degree, Business degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted.
    • 5 years’ general business experience in the commercial oil and gas industry with exceptional customer service background. Knowledge of Gun Controller systems a plus.
    • Proven leadership skills
    • Computer competencies in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems (IFS preferred)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Must possess good business skills, customer service skills, and a trade compliance awareness
    • Ability/willingness to work additional hours and weekends as required.
    • Must be a US person

    Job Knwledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Computer competencies in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP and other software programs as needed
