    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Job Summary: The role of a Process Engineer is to continually improve and maintain manufacturing processes through process management, technology and business organization. As a Process Engineer, it is important to be continually advancing your education and skills.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Job:

    • Support Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality departments
    • Develop processes to manufacture quality products efficiently
    • Audit processes for quality and efficiency
    • Develop and maintain process work procedures
    • Assist in the training and development of operators
    • Evaluate and specify equipment and processes for continuous improvement
    • Develop and maintain processes and documentation to produce quality products efficiently
    • Apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues

    Qualifications

    Skills and Specifications:

    • Current with SMT and assembly technologies
    • Good problem solver
    • Attentive to detail
    • Capable of working with a minimum or no supervision
    • Flexible, able to multi-task between multiple assignments
    • Team player
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to clearly convey instructions to people with varying technical aptitudes

    Education and/or Experience:

    • Bachelor or Associate Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
    • 2 years of Process Engineering experience

    Physical Demands:

    • Ability to work at a computer
    • Ability to work with various instruments required to produce and evaluate product
    • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment for long hours

    • Must be able to over work overtime as needed; this position often requires work weeks in excess of 40 hours, including evenings and weekends

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations if applicable:

    • Industry related certificates preferred
    • Must be a US Citizen
    • Must be able to attain a security clearance
