    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, evaluation, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype of RF and microwave circuits and systems.  A wide variety of tasks ranging from analog and digital up through working on extremely small Ka band electrical components will be encountered. The technician must be able to work with schematic diagrams and verbal instructions.  Will work closely with engineers to collect data and assist in microwave circuit design.



    Should be familiar with basic test equipment including: spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, signal generators, and oscilloscopes. Additional duties may be assigned as specific needs arise.  The position requires at least an AA degree, military training, or equivalent experiences in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting. Prior experience with Ka band microwave circuits is a plus.
