    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Works closely with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations to ensure appropriate support is maintained through production
    • Manages and validates production hydrostatic, electrical, gas and RF test capability to include equipment, personnel qualifications, and associated test methods to support customer requirements
    • Performs review, validation and approval of both production factory acceptance test (FAT) reports and qualification tests (QUAL) test reports
    • Provides subject matter expert support to design engineering and supports R&D testing as required; acquires, implements or improves test equipment, training or methods to meet new or emerging requirements
    • Supports production root cause and preventative analysis of test related product failures; supervises or assists in test failure mode determination
    • Conducts training and certification of all production hydro, electrical, gas or RF test personnel.
    • Conducts or facilitates training for engineers and other technicians as required.
    • Responsible for the calibration and validation of production test equipment and associated hardware
    • Supervises employees who support value streams within the facility; ensures all production test areas meet applicable safety and environmental requirements
    • Designs and reviews test fixtures as required
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Operations.


    Education and Experience:

    • 5 years’ experience in a leadership role
    • 10 years’ experience in an electro-mechanical test environment as a test technician or engineer
    • Hydrostatic testing
    • Electrical Testing IAW current mil standards
    • RF test experience
    • Experience in fiber optic communications is a plus
    • Excellent written and oral communication
    • MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
    • Familiar with ISO 9001
    • Ability to multitask in a fast pace, detail oriented environment
    • Familiar with Visual Basic and Lab View a plus
    • Familiar with CAD (2D or 3D) a plus


    Physical Demands:

    • Occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
    • Very good manual dexterity with both hands.
    • Ability to use hand tools and test equipment
    • Sit and or stand for long periods of time
    • Bend and work in awkward locations
    • Tolerate the chemicals used in the TDGO processes

    Work Environment:

    • Factory environment
