Teledyne Brown Engineering is actively seeking an experienced Systems Engineer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Objective Simulation Framework (OSF). The OSF is the primary simulation framework utilized by MDA for simulated ground testing.
The Systems Engineer / SME will be responsible for systems engineering tasks in support of the OSF as well as engaging in internal research and development (IRAD) programs and new business development.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Requires a BS degree in a recognized field of engineering, plus approximately 18 years experience in applicable field.
The Systems Engineers desired are subject matter experts in fields relating to the threats, elements, sciences, and fields within the BMDS.
These include, but are not limited to:
· Engineering with 20+ years of experience working with BMDS elements and programs and/or within the field of radar and electro-optical sciences
· Demonstrated experience as a Systems Engineer throughout the lifecycle of a system from concept definition through design, test, and execution
· Simulation software systems engineering experience is desired
· Demonstrated experience with Model-based Systems Engineering concepts
