Experience with Micro-controllers and firmware development in embedded C
Designing embedded systems including microcontroller selection and design of peripheral analog and digital circuitry.
Generate schematics and/or PCB layouts.
Building and testing prototypes using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, and data recorders.
Ability to work and manage independent projects as well as integrate into project teams.
Good work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced environment and see projects through to manufacturing release.
Planning and implementing new firmware.
Supporting designs in manufacturing.
Interfacing with customers and Sales engineers.
BS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Focus on Digital design and Firmware and 5-10 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Skills (but not required):
Ethernet IP and TCP
Experience with Mentor Graphics PADS
Experience with National Instruments VISA and/or LabView.
