    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manual Lathe/mill set up operator
    • Must have knowledge of proto-trac controls
    • Must be able to create parts from engineered drawings sketches and verbal instructions. 
    • Must have the ability to proficiently use a wide variety of machine shop measuring tools.
    • Must have the ability to work in a team environment as well as being a self starter.
    • Ability to consistently work to tight tolerances.
    • Must have the ability to lift 50lbs.
    • Must maintain a neat, clean and safe work station.

    Qualifications

    Skills and Education Requirements:

    • Must have a minimum of three years’ experience setting  up and operating C.N.C. Lathes and other related machine shop equipment.
    • Required to Debur and polish parts to specifications.
    • Must have the ability to lift 50lbs consistently.
    • Must maintain a safe working environment.      
    • Must have basic computer skills.

    High School Diploma or equivalent necessary.

    • Use of safety glasses
    • Use of steel protective shoes or protective shoe covers

    • ERP and Time clock system Overview
    • Teledyne Ethics and Harassment training
