The Advanced Technical Specialist will perform Senior level manufacturing engineering tasks on complex hardware and systems under strict quality systems on DOD, DOE, NASA and commercial programs.
Tasks include part master, BOM and router entry into our MRP system, creation of work instructions and shop routings for machining, fabrication and assembly work based on drawings and/or models, Quality and Contract requirements.
Additional tasks include:
Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and routinely communicating with machinist, welders and assembly personnel along with interfacing with design engineering and program management. Drawing interpretation and knowledge of GD&T skills required, MS Office suite expertise needed, experience in Epicor and Costpoint is a plus.
A self-starting, team oriented individual is a must.
Requires a degree in engineering or physics or approximately seventeen years concentrated technical experience in a specialized area. Must include at least eight years in responsible positions involving analysis, design, development, or test. However, assignments are primarily made on the basis of demonstrated technical and leadership ability.
