    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    The Principal Business Analyst II will serve as a specialist or project leader in defining and solving problems encountered in business management systems design and development. 


    The Principal Business Analyst must have:

    • A working knowledge of a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), TM1, Deltek Costpoint, and Cognos
    • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form
    • Ability to work flexible hours
    • Proficiency in the preparation of Monthly Forecasts, Annual Business Plans, and Quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs)
    • Experience in pricing proposals in response to Requests for Quotations (RFQ) and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM)
    • Working knowledge of how various contract types (ex. Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price, Time and Material, etc…) are priced and executed in accordance with Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) requirements
    • Ability to analyze data and articulate cost reduction suggestions as well as provide accurate variance comments
    • Excellent interpersonal skills




    Requires a B.S. degree, generally in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent field, and approximately ten (10) years of professional experience performing business analysis.


    Strongly Preferred:


    At least 7 years of Business Management or financial related experience with a Government contractor in a Manufacturing environment
