    Position Summary and Responsibilities


    We are currently seeking an experienced Order Entry Support to join our dynamic team at our new facility in San Diego, CA. 

    Candidates applying to this position must currently reside within the San Diego, CA region.


    This position reports to the Order Entry Supervisor and is responsible for providing sales support for both internal and external customers regarding technical product information, quotes, orders and product/parts shipment.


    Essential Functions

    • Provide internal and external customers with product support, orders, quotes and shipments.
    • Provide support, as needed, to back up other Sales Administrative Support personnel covering the front desk reception/phones, and other reception duties, as assigned.
    • Enter sales order data into ERP system, follow up and prepare shipment documents, issue invoices, and track shipment transactions and communicate status to customers.
    • Schedule and prepare export shipment documentation.
    • Coordinate with freight forwarder to ensure shipping documentation is accurate and complete.
    • Interface with several departments in all matters related to order processing, tracking status and account maintenance.
    • Provide support to all levels of management as directed.
    • Process International and Domestic RMA Requests for items to be repaired via fax, email, mail or phone calls, Including Data Entry Change Orders, Shipping, Invoicing, and Filing communication with customers during and after the process, providing order status and tracking information after order is shipped.
    • Processing RMA's for items under warranty for the Service (Tech Support) team, and ship the replacement party per request and invoice all transaction related to that function,.




    • High school diploma or equivalent required, college education within a Business major preferred.
    • 1 to 2 years of experience with Export/Import documentation and International shipments required.
    • 2 to 3 years hands-on experience in sales support, sales order entry, and customer service required.
    • Must be self-motivated and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
    • Must have strong attention to detail with a high degree of creativity and independent judgement.
    • Must have the ability to communicate professionally and in writing.
    • Must be able to work well with/within teams and exemplify extraordinary customer service while under pressure with both external and internal customers.
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge and working experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
    • Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Ax, highly preferred, and experience with CRM systems like Sales Force is a plus.



    • Prolonged sitting at a workstation utilizing a computer, keyboard, mouse, 10-key, desk phone, printer, scanner, and copier.
    • Standing, walking, reaching, talking, typing, calculating, printing, writing.
