    We are looking to add  assistance of an entry level Tester for our Header Adjust department to perform mechanical adjustment to headers.

    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    • Header Adjuster performs mechanical adjustment to the headers utilizing small hand tools, shims, and fixtures with gram gauges.
    • Responsible for go/no go test and visual inspection. Will work with all types of header families.
    • Workmanship is of critical importance to maintain consistent level of quality and productivity.
    • Will acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. Will work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature - normally receiving general instructions on routine assignments and detailed instructions on new assignments.
    • Basic computer skills for data entry for assignment tracking and labor charging.
    • Operator must be willing to be cross trained in other areas of the manufacturing area.



    • High School diploma or equivalent GED, preferred
    • Will Train. 0-1 year previous production assembly experience, preferred.
    • Must have good oral and written communications skills to be able to communicate all issues to lead.
    • Maintain work area clean and organized, and be able to work with small parts (manual dexterity) and keep tools ready for use (microscope, tweezers, pin vise, force gage, shims, gloves).
    • Be familiar with use of computer, keyboard, mouse for data entry.
    • Must have basic reading/writing skills to be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules or procedure manuals.
    • Ensure that all department records (operation sheets), charts and logs are sequenced and correctly completed/ monitored/ compliant to drawings/ specifications and procedures.
    • Must have intermediate math skills (to add, subtract, multiply, divide units), and able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided
    • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: will occassionally be required to sit, walk, talk or hear for instructions or feedback, be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs; will continuously be required to use hands to finger to handle and feel, as well as reach with hands and arms.
    • VISION REQUIREMENTS: must be able to work with both close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and distant vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more). Must be able to determine depth perception (3D vision with the ability to judge distances and spatial relationships), and be able to adjust focus accordingly (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
    • WORK ENVIRONMENT: will be working near moving mechanical parts, noise level
    • Candidate must be a US Person.
