    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    • Assist with the building of field service products, with a commitment to quality, meeting deadlines and achieving overall customer satisfaction.
    • Perform basic workshop functions in support of daily operational requirements, using best practices related to safety.
    • Assist with the timely completion of trial builds.
    • Significant travel, to support global Field Service efforts in a professional and productive manner.


    Education and Experience:

    • Associate degree preferred (technical field).
    • 2+ years of experience in a production or field service environment.

    Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
    • Advanced organizational skills and ongoing attention to detail.
    • Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems and the use of testing devices.
    • Intermediate skills in troubleshooting/repair of parts and assemblies.
    • Basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
    • Basic knowledge of fiber optic systems and the use of testing devices.
    • Basic skills in mentoring and training of co-workers.
    • Basic skills in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word).
    • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, procedures and specifications.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and independently, with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to adapt and manage change in a dynamic environment.
    • Ability and availability to travel, both domestic and international (Visa/Passport required).

    Physical Demands:

    • Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, not to exceed limits documented in Job Risk Assessment.
    • Extended work day as required, not to exceed HSE regulations.

    Work Environment:

    • Production floor.
    • Customer jobsite environment may include offshore oil platform and boats, with potentially harsh weather conditions.

    Personal Protective Equipment:

    • Safety glasses, hard hat, hearing protection, gloves, steel tip shoes, etc. to be worn as outlined in Job Risk Assessment.
