    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Job Summary

    This position reports to a Line Lead Assembler and is semi-routine in nature. The position requires building up and assembling complex units such as power supplies, modules, chassis drawings, cable harness, PC boards, electronic systems and sub-assemblies. Relocation is not authorized for this position, applicants must reside within the San Diego County area.


    Essential Functions

    • Assemble electronic devices, components, and fabricated parts at floor stations, using hand and power tools.
    • Interpret blue prints, schematics, productions sheets, wire lists, and verbal instruction to build up and assemble electronic devices and components.



    • High School Diploma required, technical training or certificate in electronics highly desired but not required.
    • A minimum of 5 years production experience in electro-mechanical assembly required.
    • Must have intermediate level experience with soldering, wire-wrapping and cable harnessing.
    • Must have ability to utilize hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, crimper's, and soldering machines.
    • Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
    • Must be able to apply basic mathematics to include adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
    • Must have the ability read and work from established drawings. 

    Physical Requirements

    • The physical requirements for this position involve repetitive use of hand tools, twisting, turning, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, standing, sitting, walking and occasional lifting of instruments up to but not to exceed 30 lbs. without assistance.
