    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    TBE is leveraging our modeling and simulation (M&S), hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL), and discrete event simulation expertise to develop the Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

     

    The OSF is the primary simulation framework used for testing the Ballistic Missile Defense system (BMDS). This position will work to integrate Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) and digital representations from each of the BMDS program elements into a system that accurately represents the performance of fielded BMDS equipment against a variety of threats in realistic environments.

     

    The C++ Software Engineer position includes activities to:

    • Develop software simulations using the C++ programming language from receipt of system requirements through support for FQT and periodic delivery of software baselines
    • Conduct trade studies and data analysis

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

     

    Requires a B.S. degree in a recognized field of engineering, plus approximately four (4) years professional experience in C++ development.

     

    Strongly Preferred:

    • Hands on model-driven development using industry standard methods to convey software-based system design (UML)
    • Experience using an Agile development methodology environment.
    • Experience with Linux/Unix.

     

    Active Secret Clearance is preferred.  Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is required.
