Position Summary and Responsibilities

The Principle Engineer will oversee systems engineering for a broad range of projects including:

  • Supervising the performance, development and maintenance of systems requirements matrix, nuclear facility safety basis, system design documentation, generation of critical characteristics, safety/hazard analysis and FMEA.
  • Serve as in-house expert in nuclear engineering. Perform technical reviews, design and development of heat and mass balance, PFDs, P&IDS and specifications.

***This position requires the ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance, therefore, candidates muct be a U.S. Citizen***


Education and Experience:


ucation and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Nuclear, Chemical or Mechanical engineering with a minimum of 7 years experience in the design of nuclear projects. Requires a proven track record in coordinating key programs with federal and contractor project managers, engineers and scientists etc., and supervision of modest groups of engineers.


Professional Engineer (PE) Certification and/or 10 years of experience is highly desired.
