Position Summary and Responsibilities


The Product Line Coordinator will work with Product Line Management, Sales, and Customer Service to achieve the following: Create and update reference materials, create or modify reporting, assist with price lists including annual pricing activities.  Coordinate with the Sales department on the use of tracking and sale of reduce value inventory (RVI), demo and/or loaner equipment activities. Create and modify approved trade agreements. Provide customer service in a professional, efficient and effective manner following ethical business practices and in compliance with all company policies, procedures, processes, and applicable regulations. 


This position will require the individual to leverage his/her ability and the capability to think “outside the box” for recommended solutions.  This may be completed with communication via face to face conversations, emails, and telephone with various departments within Teledyne Isco, including customers, inside and outside the sales channels, distributors, and manufacturer representatives.  It will cover a wide variety of subjects and implementing the proper action and documentation necessary to perform and provide accurate information.  Ensure that attention to detail is met and have items addressed in a proper, correct and timely manner while complying with Teledyne Isco’s goals and values, as well as our customers’ expectations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Understands the responsibility of business implication, reviews risk and prepares all activities for the sale of RVI and loan of demo equipment.  This includes inquiries from sales staff, channel partners, customers, and/or end users. 
  • Assures required documentation is complete, accurate, and involves the necessary individual(s) review for foreign shipments following Teledyne’s established policies and processes.
  • Creates CapEx requisitions when necessary and also asset disposal documentation.  
  • Completes and maintains accurate records of order requests for units & accessories.
  • Creates/modifies reporting to assist in the tracking of equipment and status.
  • Provides tracking information and status of shipments and returned equipment.
  • Assists Customer Service Associates on questions concerning demo equipment, column plans and pricing discrepancies.
  • Reviews and implements price lists updates and changes throughout the year and at year-end for final approvals. Will upload into our ERP system, this includes mass upload files.
  • Creates and modifies price lists/trade agreements for channel partners including OEM accounts.
  • Provides price files and uploads to approved customers.
  • Assists the Customer Service Manager, as required, for other projects as deemed necessary.  This can include data reporting, creating/maintaining/updating/logs of workflows, observing and providing process improvements. Recommends solutions to enhance quality process efficiencies within the department and/or company-wide business activities and solutions. 
  • Prioritizes the urgency of the daily responsibilities to meet the Product Line, Sales, and Customer Service Managers expectations. Requires monitoring processes through the ERP system and other software to ensure fulfillment of requirements and documentation. 



Education and/or Experience

Associate’s degree or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the following areas; analyzing data, creating and modifying reporting, and working within deadlines.


Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional and technical procedures or governmental regulations. The capability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures manuals.  Has the ability to effectively present information and response to questions from groups of managers, customers and the general public. 


Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and use of the Internet.
