    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    The Eng/Anl Sub Mat Exp III will be handling Phase 1 for the Belelfonte Nuclear Plant.

     

    Phase 1 requires Review of current plant status and review results of previous completion assessments. Nuclear plant experienced Subject matter experts will support this effort by performing and/or leading the performance of reviewing currently available documents.  This includes drawings, data sheets, and calculations. The Eng/Anl Sub Mat Exp III will provide guidance in walk-down effort required for validation, along with, develop estimates and basis of estimates for phase II engineering in their respective areas 

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

     

    • SME Engineer, Mechanical, Structural and/or Piping Engineer.
    • 15-20 years experience working commercial Nuclear power plants.
    • Design Basis, design modification experience.
    • Experience preparing design basis and system description documents.
    • Experience preparing calculations such as thermal hydraulic analyses &/or pipe stress analyses

     

     

    Strongly Preferred:  

    • Licensed Professional Engineer desired, but not required.
    • Experience working in accordance with requirements outlined in 10CFR50.
    • PWR Experience preferred.
    • Experience leading design teams.
    • Experience supporting the Licensing process including preparing licensing document changes for the FSAR and/or Technical Specifications.
    • Experience working with and designing in accordance with ASME III and ASME B31.1 design codes.
