    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    The Sr Systems Engineer I will be a subject matter expert who will lead, design , and walk down teams to validate the current design  documents.


    Additional Responsibilities :


    • Perform gap analysis and develop scope of work.
    • Estimates for engineering design of the assigned systems.(The Phase 1 position is expected to last 6-9 months.)


    Education and Experience:

    Nuclear, Mechanical or Chemical Process Engineer and 15-20 years’ experience working as a nuclear systems design engineer in commercial nuclear power plants.

    Strongly Preferred:

    • Experience with Design Basis and design modification.
    • Experience preparing design basis and system description documents.
    • Experience working with and designing in accordance with ASME III and ASME B31.1 design codes.
    • Experience supporting the Licensing process including preparing licensing document changes for the FSAR and/or Technical Specifications.
    • Experience leading design teams a plus.
    • PWR experience preferred
