Position Summary and Responsibilities

This position reports to the Inside Sales Manager and is responsible for providing sales support, with filing all airway bills, communicates with freight forwarders and provides all export documents as required. Creates SLI’s for freight forwarders and follows up to obtain all AWB & ACE filings. Provides Sales support for both internal and external customers regarding order input, quotes, status checks, product information and processing orders for both Domestic and International Spare Parts Order Desks as needed. Sales Admin and Receptionist daily back up. Covers receptionist and support for breaks, lunch and during any absence.


  • Inputs sales orders and creates quotations.
  • Reviews customer PO for accuracy.
  • Provides freight forwarders with SLI and follows up to obtain AWB and ACE filings for our files/audits
  • Provides export documentation as needed by shipping or freight forwarders.
  • Provides administrative support for Sales Admin. Supports internal and external customers with product inquiries, order input, status updates, and quotes.
  • Assist with processing customers purchase orders, prepares proforma invoices, prepare/track shipments and communicates status to customers as needed.
  • Interface with several departments in all matters related to order processing, shipping, tracking status and account maintenance.
  • Provide support for domestic and international spares desk, including misc. projects, quoting and preparing documents as required by customer.
  • Daily back up and support for Sales Admin and Receptionists. Covers receptionist breaks, lunch and absence/vacation. Provide assistance with filing, mail and department office supplies.


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a sales support or customer service role highly desired.
  • Experience communicating directly with customers in both verbal and written format.
  • Export experience in regards to filing for ACE, export documentation, and freight forwarders.
  • Strong attention to detail self-motivated individual willing to learn in a fast paced environment.

Mental & Physical Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to stand and walk 25% of the time and sit 75% of the time.
  • Reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, Stoop, kneel or crouch 25% of the time.
  • Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 25 pounds.
