    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    The Senior Air and Missile Defense Analyst / Site Lead will perform studies, exercises, wargames, and training for air and missile defense, help to define requirements for data development and simulation enhancements, and will lead the two TBE staff on site in UAE. The primary emphasis is on the use of the Extended Air Defense Simulation, but the use of other tools will also be required. This position will be on site with the customer at IAMDC, Al Bateen Air Base, UAE. The period of performance is 3 Years.

     

    This effort is part of an overall support task for UAE use of EADSIM and conduct of Air and Missile Defense analysis. In addition to the two on site support staff in UAE, TBE is providing expert support from our Huntsville, Alabama offices to train the UAE staff, develop data for the study use, and make substantial modifications to EADSIM in support of this task.

     

    Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. (TBE) is continuing development and support of the Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM). EADSIM is a many on many simulation of air, missile and space warfare. EADSIM incorporates user-driven capabilities with a proven, rapid-response capability to develop and support the model to meet the evolving user needs. The broad gamut of battlefield technologies and interactions of those technologies makes the tool a rich environment for evaluation of new technologies.

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

     

    Requires a B.S. degree in a discipline which supports analysis/research work; such fields are as follows: math, science, economics, or engineering. Requires some work toward a Masters degree in an ORSA discipline. Must have successfully completed an Operation Research / System Analysis (ORSA) course. Must have completed the ORSA-Military Application Course-1 (MAC-1), or we will consider equivalent graduate level course work. Recent experience in analytical analysis of air missile defense operations. Critical thinking skills, strong problem solving skills are required. Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English.

    Master’s Degree in an Operations Research / Systems Analysis discipline is a plus. Completion of EADSIM training courses is a plus.
