    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Position Overview:


    Perform a variety of accounting tasks related to the maintenance and processing of accounting records.  Emphasis will be placed on various aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and the GL.  Individual will be responsible for month end closing, reconciliations, fixed asset management, intercompany, tax filings, SOX compliance and preparation of audit packages.  The position will also involve quarterly and yearly corporate reporting.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Preparation, analysis and distribution of the Financial Statement Package
    • Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts and subsidiary ledgers
    • Manage and participate in closing process and related account reconciliations and reporting
    • Assistance with the preparation of the annual budget
    • Budget review and monitoring to actual expenditures
    • Tax preparation and filings
    • Audit pack preparation and audit interface - Internal, SOX 404, Interim, year-end
    • Assist in the preparation of internal and external reporting
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by Management


    Education and Experience:

    • BA/BS in Accounting from accredited school
    • Good understanding of US GAAP 
    • CPA preferred, Minimum 15 years work experience

    Physical Demands:

    • Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials such as files.
    • Regularly required to sit, stand, or walk throughout the facility.
    • All employees may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.


    Work Environment:

    • This position requires long periods of sitting behind a desk, performing tasks on computer. There will also be periods of walking throughout the facility.
