    Teledyne Monitor Labs, a manufacturer of air emissions monitoring analyzers and software systems, seeks a Customer Service Representative to oversee customer analyzer and spare part inquiries in a professional and informed manner. Duties include preparation of product quotations, product order processing, and performance of other typical Customer Service functions.

    Position Summary and Responsibilities



    • Performs quotation and order entry of spare parts, customizable analyzers, administers Returned Goods for Repair (RGR) process, and addresses general customer service inquiries.
    • Engages with customers in a manner that provides a positive customer experience and promotes the reputation of Teledyne Monitor Labs.
    • Will interact with all areas of the business from accounting, to sales, to manufacturing, to shipping. An organized team player is highly sought.


    • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
    • Ability to stand, walk or sit.
    • Ability to lift, pull or push 10 – 50 pounds 25% of the time.
    • Able to work near mechanical parts and under moderate noise.


    • High school diploma or equivalent required, college education preferred.
    • Minimum two years of hands-on experience in sales support, sales order entry, and/or customer service in a manufacturing environment.
    • Experience with export documentation/international shipments highly desirable.
    • Must be a self-starter, able to establish priorities, and handle multiple tasks in sometimes stressful situations and/or under deadlines.
    • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external customers, both verbally and in writing.
    • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • CRM software experience preferred.
    • ERP experience. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP platform is a plus.
