    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    • Review all new customer purchase orders at entry and provide customer service and project management with the schedule to be confirmed to the customer.
    • Provide a daily summary of new orders entered detailing units & dollars by project, deliveries with expedited lead times and additional information as needed.
    • Track booking rates by units / product category to provide operations team recommendations for capacity increases or decreases.
    • Assist the quotation department with requests to quote expedited lead-times. Track orders with expedite dollars attached.
    • Assign planner codes, product categories & characteristics for new P/N’s as entered on customer orders.
    • Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company.
    • Comply with, and assist in the enforcement of all company safety policies.


    Education and Experience:

    • BS Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
    • CPIM Certification preferred
    • Min. 3 years of supply chain management or production planning experience

    Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong understanding of Engineer to Order manufacturing processes.
    • Certifications through APICS or ISM (CPIM, CPM, CIRM, CSCP or CPSM) a definite plus
    • Experience with lean manufacturing & value stream mapping processes a plus.
    • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to deal with a variety of changing situations
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills- written & verbal.
    • Ability to work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment
    • Computer Literate- proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
    • Professional appearance and behavior
    • Must be available for extended work hours as required


    Physical Demands:

    • Ability to sit and use computer terminals for extended periods
