Position Summary and Responsibilities

Teledyne Controls is seeking a seasoned Senior Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical support for all areas of the business unit by specifying equipment and methods to ensure repaired products comply with all repair process requirements and Quality Assurance standards.

 

Key Functions:

  • Follow up with Component Engineer for EOL replacement parts
  • Coordinate with Test Engineering Team on test/document issue
  • Coordinate with Support Engineering Team to resolve the issue on Service Bulletin
  • Work with Customer Repair Management (Upgrade)/Rework Travelers for products without Service Bulletin and CMM
  • Document process flow for repairs and upgrade per product line, start with the latest product that currently in production and work backward
  • Evaluates equipment and tools for improvement/replacement
  • Work with Mechanical Engineering to design fixtures, tooling aids, templates to ease the rework process
  • Coordinate and/or provide training on Teledyne Process Specification (TPS) to Repair Station’s Technicians as requested by Repair Station Management
  • Analyze and plan on continuous basis the work force utilization, capacity, space requirements, workflow and designs layout of equipment and workspace for use efficiency

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in related engineering fields
  • At least a minimum of five (5) years' of combination of experience or education
  • Must have knowledge of Circuit Card Assembly, Box Assembly, SMT, BGA, Harnessing & Wiring, Tooling and the establishment of Manufacturing Process Flows
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications tools: Project, Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent time management skills
  • Must have ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical documents and schematics

Preferred:

  • Experience in Aerospace and Defense industry experience
  • Experience operating an AS9100 Environment
  • Experience in electronic, electrical and mechanical assembly, including MIL-STD-130, IPC-A-610, IPC-WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001

 

Requirement:
