Position Summary and Responsibilities

Teledyne Storm Microwave, a leading manufacturer of R/F Microwave cable assemblies, is searching for a 2nd shift Tester for a temporary assignment at our Woodridge, IL facility.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting-up and operating various Agilent PNA network analyzers in accordance with written procedures
  • Performing proper calibration procedures for PNA test equipment
  • Testing cable assemblies per customer print or Teledyne Storm Engineering drawings
  • Analyzing and interpreting test data  
  • Providing test reports and swept charts as part of the failure analysis process
  • Using VEEPRO, Windows EXCEL, or other software to tabulate test data
  • Electronically phase matching cable assemblies using auto-saw and testing software

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Previous experience in cable manufacturing/inspection/testing is a plus
  • Strong computer skills for setting up the VEEPRO software, creating and printing test report
  • Strong Microsoft EXCEL for data sorting and creating charts
  • Must be dependable and reliable
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in engineering print reading preferred
  • US Citizen or US Person only

 

This is a 2nd Shift position; candidate will be required to work in 1st shift during training for a period of 2-3 months
