Position Summary and Responsibilities

Summary: This is an opportunity to be a part of the Teledyne engineering test team.  The candidate will be bidding, designing, and executing tests development for various complex technologies .  The candidate will be involved with customer interaction, designing solutions, and test production support.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop test solutions
  • troubleshoot complex hardware
  • Develop and maintain programs for DITMCO and JTAG test equipment
  • Train and assist engineer technicians with test troubleshooting
  • Develop test procedures and fixtures
  • Create and Execute to bid
  • Perform design for test (DFT)

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 8 years of test engineering design
  • BS in engineering field
  • 3 years of design for test experience
  • Must be able to write detailed test plans, maintenance and test procedures
  • DITMCO experience is a plus
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Sound knowledge of testing experience including debugging, design, and DFT
  • Must have strong communication skills – both written and oral –
  • Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and operate on-site software and hardware necessary
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment for long hours
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed; this position often requires work weeks in excess of 40 hours, including evenings and weekends

 

Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations:

  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance
