Position Summary and Responsibilities


Teledyne Controls’ Manufacturing Department is seeking for an experienced and motivated Assembler to perform all phases of rework, electronic component replacements on thru-hole and Surface Mount assemblies and minor mechanical assembly.

Essential Duties:

  • Wire crimping, harnessing and component hand soldering
  • Perform precise measurements and various complex electronic assembly operations such as building harness, building Circuit Card Assembly (CAA)
  • Rework and repair defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel
  • Determine or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing various complex electronic assembly operations
  • Ensuresthat quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process
  • Record information on production records, logs and other report forms




  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ of experience in related field
  • Must have basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Word
  • Must be able to perform fine-pitch soldering
  • Must be able to read blueprints/drawings
  • Must have working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001
  • Must have ability to operate measuring devices, gauges and torque tools
  • Must be able to use hands constantly
  • Must be able to life and/or move up to 25 lbs.
