Design and development of analog and digital electronic circuit and/or embedded software. Evaluate, recommend and implement alternative production methodologies to enhance performance and drive innovation. The initial focus is for electro-optical infrared detector products and applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop embedded software with microcontroller for optic-electronic product applicationSpecify and selects component, software, and equipment that will support transition of current analog technology to digital.
Develop automation software for product line and/or test set-up
Trouble shooting circuit board layout design especially in trans impedance amplifiers, analog to digital and single processing circuit.
Identify required improvements in the assembly and test processes; make contributions to automation tools that address specific needs
Generate documentation of the system and processes.
Train engineers and technicians on the use of different pieces of firmware and hardware.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology with ten (10) years of professional experience in related engineering discipline such as electronics, computer science, electrical, controls, automation, or industrial engineering. Advanced degree in Science or Engineering with five (5) years of professional experience is preferred.
