The Receiving Inspector will Perform Quality Assurance Receiving Inspector functions by conducting, reporting and documenting results of receiving inspection activities as assigned.
Must be familiar with ASME Codes and standards, with experience in reviewing Certified Materials Test Report (CMTRs) for acceptance of material procured.
Perform vendor audits and layered process audits as required.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
Education and Experience:
Requires High School level education or equivalent, plus ten (10) years related experience. Directly applicable schooling will receive credit on a two-for-two basis. Minimum six years experience as Receiving Inspector.
Practical knowledge of ASME codes and standards. Practical knowledge of inspection techniques using calibrated measuring test and equipment. Proficiency of Costpoint and TIP QA.
Two (2) year degree
