Position Summary and Responsibilities


  • Configuration management of commercial and defense industry product control documentation
  • Prepares configuration management plans and procedures
  • Ensures execution of scrap or rework material stock dispositions (material impounds and requests for manufacturing orders)
  • Execute effective and timely Configuration Board process
  • Preparation of Configuration Board agendas and capturing action items and board minutes
  • Evaluates and selects configuration management tools and standards
  • Prepares engineering change request or release orders for editorial or minor changes to documents
  • Update manufacturing documentation under supervision of Engineer
  • Update BOM’s and routing in MRP/ERP system
  • May be called upon to perform Document Control functions (release of new drawings, update of document control logs, generation of document packages for Production)
  • Researches historical part drawings for determination of export control classification




  • 2-year technical degree
  • Minimum 0-2 years administrative experience
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • MS Word; MS Excel
  • Must be organized and flexible
  • This is an exempt position that may regularly work in excess of 40 hours weekly
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings when needed for workload is also required
  • Must be a U.S. Person or U.S. Citizen
