Position Summary and Responsibilities


  • Promotes and exemplifies the Teledyne Hanson Research culture, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional customer experience through demonstrating THR’s core values
  • Perform routine chemical and physical analysis on the full range of pharmaceutical samples in accordance with USP, EP, BP, in-house methods, customer’s methods
  • Develop and Validate analytical methods per FDA, ICH and other regulatory agencies
  • Independently operate analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, Dissolution, Diffusion tester, PH meter, densitometer, titrators etc. to generate data
  • Review, evaluate and interpret analytical data to ensures that all work is performed in compliance with applicable SOPs, cGMP, GLP and established Safe Work Practices (SWP), maintain documentations regarding lab notebooks and logbooks
  • Maintain and calibrate analytical lab instruments, Troubleshoot technical issues/ difficulties with different instruments
  • Keep up-to-date records of lab supplies, chemicals, reagents, reference standards inventory, prepare PO as needed
  • Provide technical support to clients in relation to R&D, Validation and Method Transfer
  • Assist to write, review and revise SOPs as needed, review technical data, documents and proposals as required
  • Develop and foster an environment that value troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis expertise
  • Keep current on emerging analytical technologies, and providing technical resources to support Analytical Development strategies
  • Responsible for the efficient utilization of resources and supplies to reduce waste and achieve cost containment and Lean objectives
  • Participates in the evaluation of prospective analytical methods, literature, procedures and protocols to determine technical feasibility and project scope
  • Support Product Development efforts to ensure the timely completion of the project.
  • Other duties as assigned by company management



  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Science fields, with 3-5 years
    • Excellent working knowledge of current CGMP, ICH guidelines, compendia, general SOPs and product specific monograph related to analysis of pharmaceuticals
  • Relevant experience in Analytical R&D of pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet client deadlines, ability to adapt and
  •            respond quickly to manage changes in a fast paced environment
  • Must be an organized, self-starter, efficient team player, and be able to produce high quality work under pressure
  • Exceptional computer skills with a high level of competences with MS office (Outlook,
  • Word, Excel, power point)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
