Position Summary and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, lay out and apply DGO-1 Greening process to appropriate products and cables.
  • Must be able to read and understand process sheets and blueprints
  • Must be able to apply coating properly from detailed written or verbal instructions

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to apply common sense in performing job
  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to use basic high school math skills
  • 1-2 years spray painting, coating or epoxy applications

Physical Demands:

  • Good coordination and flexibility in both hands
  • Move and occasionally lift up to 50lbs. or more
  • Good vision

Work Environment:

  • Factory environment

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Use of safety glasses
  • Use of steel protective shoes or protective shoe covers
  • Other PPE as required

Training Requirements:

  • ERP and Time clock system Overview
  • Teledyne Ethics and Harassment training
  • Hazardous Communications
  • Quality Systems
