The POIC Stowage team serves as the real-time expert on all NASA inventory items. We provide a daily list of parts, tools, materials needed to perform science activities on the International Space Station. Coordinating with NASA control centers, International Partners, and NASA Payload Developers; POIC Stowage ensures hardware is tracked from launch to landing. The POIC Stowage team supports real-time operations five days a week, twenty-four hours per day; in addition, back room teams support five days a week, eight hours per day.
Education and Experience:
Requires a B.S. degree in a recognized field of engineering and a basic knowledge of analysis, design and test techniques. No prior work experience is required. Co-op or related sub-professional experience is desirable, but not mandatory.
Experience in engineering, logistics, supply management, and operations integration. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
