The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for examining and evaluating customer requirements as well as planning, developing, managing and controlling the electrical and I&C activities of the program(s) he/she is assigned to.
Engaged in performing and or supervising the performance of a major analysis, design, development, and/or test efforts.
Will work under the administration of the Chief Engineer and/or project Manager he/she is assigned to.
Shall coordinate and perform technical liaison with customer and subcontractor representatives in support of project tasks.
Shall prepare or supervise the preparation of specifications, drawings, manuals and other technical documentation in the area of expertise.
Education and Experience:
Degreed and Registered (P.E.) electrical engineer with a minimum of 16 years of proven experience in the performance of electrical and I&C engineering and design tasks for medium and major size EPC projects. The experience areas shall include design, specifications, drawings and calculations, in the areas of power, controls, instrumentation and interfaces. Experience and working knowledge of PLC programming required. Shall have working knowledge of the various engineering and design software utilized in the areas of expertise. Experience in supervising engineers in the performance of their work is essential. Experience with NQA-1 projects essential
