Responsible for file maintenance of engineering drawings, project reports, specifications, product proposals and documentation. Types process and status reports, assigns and monitors document numbers. May perform operator functions on blueprint, copy machines for reproduction of documentation. Maintains special catalogs or files for unique projects. Be able to follow ISO 9001 procedures. Works on assignments that are moderately complex where judgment is required in resolving problems and making recommendations. Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments. Maintains MRB, Contact and other data bases (Access databases).
Other duties will include incoming inspection of mechanical assemblies in accordance to drawings, procedures and controlled documentation. Responsible for performing packaging line and manufacturing inspections, sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated. Blueprint reading and a working knowledge of mechanical test and inspection equipment. May also perform source inspection and follow-up at supplier sites.
This is a Temporary position duration less or greater than 6 months.
