This position is primarily responsible for providing general corporate and intellectual property paralegal and administrative assistance and support to the Teledyne Legal Department and Intellectual Property Committee. It requires top-notch interpersonal, organizational and computer skills and ability to: pay attention to detail; meet deadlines; work under pressure and with frequent interruptions. The ideal candidate will have wide-ranging experience, and the ability to use professional level concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. The position also requires working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors; exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results; networking with key contacts outside one’s own area of expertise; and determining critical methods and procedures on new assignments. This position has access to and regularly works with sensitive, confidential information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES

BA/BS or equivalent preferred. Paralegal certificate (ABA approved school preferred) or other legal training/education is required. 6-8 years of experience in a law office or corporate legal department.
