Position Summary and Responsibilities

Process Containing Equipment (PCE) Technician


Responsibilities of the Process Containing Equipment Technician are to communicate the requirements of Global Mechanical Integrity Safety Standard and assist with the current process and daily interpretations needed to be compliant. 




-Communicating the data requirements for registration, inspections, status changes and follow up to completion with appropriate support groups concerning the containment equipment.

-Run daily reports for containing equipment inspections to check status and progress.

-Perform monthly visual inspections for PCE, Relief Devices, piping, flex hoses, sight glasses and expansion joints as needed.


Education and Experience


-Ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in Industrial Technology and/or related program.

-Candidate should have 2-4 years work experience in an Industrial environment.


Language Skills


-The position requires strong interpersonal skills and basic computer skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

- Must be able to provide reports and results to management.

-Need strong communication skills.

-Position will require consistent communication with research clients, off-site peers and the GMISS Network.

-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
