Position Summary and Responsibilities

The Training Integration Lead is a Teledyne Brown Engineering management position.  Selected candidate will be part of the TBE management team. The lead will be responsible for daily tasking of the team including collaborating and integrating across teams and will provide training development and integration of ISS payload operations training. Tasking will include oversight of course development, training integration, and training implementation.  Lead will evaluate Engineering Change Requests (ECR) for new tools/capabilities and collaborate with multiple Payload Operations and Integration (POI) disciplines to identify training requirements.  Individual will also support user evaluations and demos, support POI meetings, develop training, develop training feedback questionnaires, and provide feedback on course development to other team members.  Lead will also lead and/or support Flight Readiness Review (FRR).  Lead will be tasked with other responsibilities in leading/supporting training efforts, as well as other duties as assigned by Teledyne management.      


Education and Experience:


Requires a minimum of a B.S. degree in a recognized field of engineering, plus approximately ten (10) years concentrated experience in the specialty area.


Knowledge Required:


Candidate must have experience developing and/or training delivery. The job requires functional knowledge of ISS payload operations, as well as an understanding of internal POI discipline interfaces and external POI interfaces such as Payload Developers.   Candidate must understand ISS payload operation tools at a minimum OPTIMIS Viewer, OCRs, EHS, and voice systems.  An understanding of POI ground systems is a plus but candidate must have the aptitude to understand and develop operational training for all ground systems. 


Skills Required:


Candidate must be assertive, have the ability to lead a multidiscipline team, and be forward thinking. Position requires the ability to communicate with other disciplines to determine and develop training requirements, ability to assign and meet deadlines, have attention to detail, give technical and editorial direction for training development, and ability to confidently and effectively present training to others.  Working knowledge of Microsoft office products to include SharePoint is a must.  Experience with Learning Management Systems is a plus.
