Position Summary and Responsibilities

Seeking a program management, planning & scheduling professional to join the TIS Program Management team. You may be supporting programs in a classified environment as required. Duties will include:


  • Develops of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for programs based on requirements provided by the customer and TIS development plans.
  • Provide support to baseline reviews that demonstrate thorough cost and schedule integration
  • Supports program execution through paricipation in daily standups, weekly status, and other program status tracking activities.
  • Detail planning and maintenance throughout the program’s life cycle that incorporates contractual and programmatic changes into the IMS in order to maintain realistic, current contract schedule baselines. Other duties will include:work with business operations in support of implementing earned value management on select programs.
  • Detailed analysis of the IMS and supporting documents to ensure quality, completeness and compliance.
  • Communication (electronically and verbally) of schedule status including but not limited to, results of critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis (SRA), schedule variance analysis and the results of ‘what if’ exercises to the Program Manager, the customer and potentially to senior management.
  • Work with program and functional management to plan and implement new business processes that increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Working in a secured environment supporting programs in a classified environment as required


Required Skills:

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Accounting, Finance, Program Management or Program Planning & Scheduling
  • Minimum 3 years of scheduling experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment (preferably aerospace) 
  • Experience with project portfolio management using tools such as MS Project Server is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in using MS Office suite products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Project experience (or similar project scheduling software)
  • The ability to interface and influence at all levels of an organization
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment
  • The ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
