Position Summary and Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Provides technical and hands-on development for the performance, testing and development of hybridization processes for sensor chip assemblies.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Implements, follows and audits strict FPA Production processes and procedures
  • Oversees the workflow and work distribution for FPA Production labs
  • Operate Hybridization equipment FC-150
  • Follows travelers and work instructions for all work performed on hardware
  • Complies with TS&I Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Supports efforts to identify and correct root causes of damage occurring from backend processes performed
  • Frequently works with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for tracking and reporting of data

Qualifications & Competencies

                                                 

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:

 

  • Ability to perform assembly tasks using a microscope
  • Knowledge of mechanical assemblies and precision alignment mounting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Manual dexterity for the use of hand tools
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately follow procedures and diagrams
  • Advanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices

 

Education and/or Experience

                                                 

High School Diploma with ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience with handling and manipulation of small parts with tweezers
