Position Summary and Responsibilities

The Application Programmer Analyst position is responsible for supporting custom and COTS applications at the corporate headquarters in Thousand Oaks, CA. The position will participate in product evaluation, requirements gathering, implementation, and support for Corporate systems both on premise and in the cloud. In addition, the Programmer/Analyst will design and develop custom solutions using Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, .NET, and Azure Cloud services using corporate application and security standards.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual that can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will possess the experience and discipline to take direction well and be able to work independently without direction when situations arise. The Programmer Analyst will report to the manager of enterprise and corporate applications working on corporate-focused projects as well as larger enterprise-wide projects.

Qualifications

 

 Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Experience with COTS product evaluation, implementation, and support including on premise and cloud systems
  • 3-5 Years’ experience in the following technologies
    • SharePoint
    • .NET (C#)
    • Web Application development using ASP.NET
    • SQL Server database design and programming
  • Experience with Azure and other cloud technologies, SharePoint Online, O365

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Application experience in several business disciplines including Finance, HR, Tax, Legal, and IT
  • Workflow design/development in SharePoint a plus
    • Nintex workflow/forms a plus
  • SharePoint migrations, administration, and management a plus

 

Required Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven problem solving ability

Working Environment/Conditions

  • No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment

Physical and Mental Activities and Requirements

  • No or very limited physical effort required
  • No or very limited exposure to physical risk
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time
